My first time dining here and what a lovely little cafe! Staff are very friendly and polite and the food and coffee was delicious. Prices are very reasonable and I loved my “French kiss”. Highly recommend and will definitely be my go to from now on!

I stumbled across this cafe as I searched for a Sunday afternoon coffee and snacks. The large image of Maverick the dog on the back wall was a big draw card, and I was pleasantly surprised to recognise the new proprietor! She had run one of my favourite coffee vans in the area. Suffice to say that the coffee was AMAZING! I tried the toasted spicy chicken sandwich, which was also delicious...and for someone who struggles with spicy food, this sandwich was perfect. I intend to bring work buddies and friends to experience this great new coffee spot.

Ordered a catering box for my wedding morning. It was so amazing we had already eaten parts before we remembered to snap the photo. The Toasties were definitely a favorite great flavours. Thanks you

Amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was fortunate for my beautiful partner to book us in for a special surprise date on the first of July at Mavericks. We were seated at 6pm and enjoyed a genourous 3 course meal in an intimate environment. The baked Brie was served with fresh, warm bread and tasted amazing, the main course followed with a hearty Chicken and Mushroom stew before we finished with one the most perfect chocolate lava cakes topped with vanilla ice cream and a side of strawberry sauce. To go with our meals we had a couple of their zero alcohol sangrias which were quite nice (alcohol free establishment), there are also a number of different zero alcohol cocktails and beer options available making it a great option for those doing Dry July. The staff are amazing and we often frequent the place in the morning for their great coffee and spicy chicken toasties, I was not aware of the great food they are also serving for dinners. Thank you Mavericks for your caring hospitality, excellent service and lovely meal.

Had a really lovely experience with my partner. Service was amazing. Biscoff latte was delicious!! and so was the Italian toastie, absolutely loaded with prosciutto, rocket, tomato and mozzarella. Will definitely be back again. Thank you

Lovely little spot - perfect to hang out with your fur babies. The owner went out of her way to make sure our big pup was comfortable and was so lovely. Good selection of food and even have a selection of cold drop coffees.

The young cute boy at the til was very polite with great customer service. He was also an excellent barista; as our flat white coffees were delicious. Hot, creamy and tasty (not burnt or bitter). The only issue is the venue. It is perfectly fine for a small cafe. But the writing on the wall promises a “cosy” atmosphere which is misleading. The seats aren’t comfy, the floor is concrete and there is no heater in sight. It probably works better in Summer. Also the venue and shelves hint at a bar for alcohol. Yet they only do non-alcoholic beverages. Overall. While we only had coffee. We would go back to try the delicious smelling toasted sandwiches. Edit: We went back for a second time. Our toastie was yum. Our coffees were once again great and the staff were friendly.

Love this café!! I’ve been a few times now, but today we visited with my brother, my partner, and the kids and it was just as lovely as always. The coffee was absolutely beautiful smooth, rich, and not burnt or bitter at all. The kids had iced chocolates, which they absolutely loved! We also shared a toastie and a croissant, both fresh and delicious. Customer service is always amazing here—friendly, welcoming. Thank you for having us
